Here on the East Coast we were hit hard with snow and freezing temps this winter. I am so ready for spring. The kids are busting out of the house the moment the tiniest crack of sunshine gleams through our windows. Honestly, so am I!! When I started planning what I would do for the kids Easter baskets this year I knew right away I wanted it to be outdoor themed.
Melissa and Doug’s Sunny Patch Outdoor Toys were my top choice for baskets this year. Both Hayley and Derek love the show Miss Spider’s Sunny patch and I wanted something that they could use to help us with spring gardening. Past years the kids enjoyed watering flowers but this year I want them to really help plant!
The Sunny Patch Outdoor Toys line is adorable. Vibrant colors, solidly made toys that will last many years and no need to be replaced season after season. I know this because we have some of their products from a few years ago that are still going strong and haven’t faded from the sun.
Hayley is all about pink and flowers so she will love the Blossom Bright Watering Can
Derek is going to think this Verdie Chameleon Watering Can is so cool!
Both Derek and Hayley are getting the Happy Giddy Rake and the Blossom Bright Rake
Both kids will get gardening gloves in their Easter Baskets! Bella Butterfly Kid’s Gardening Gloves and Mollie & Bollie Ladybugs Kids’ Gardening Gloves and for tools they get the Happy Giddy Trowel and the Blossom Bright Trowel
I love the adorable Melissa and Doug Mollie & Bollie Ladybugs Pail and the Happy Giddy Pail and they are large enough to hold the watering can, gloves and trowels so no need to buy and actual basket!!

These are so adorable!! Now I just need to find a patch of dirt my kids can have a hay day with so they don’t ruin my flower bed!

Lindsey, you can totally buy them their own little pots! That’s what I did!!
