Hi, I am Sarah. I grew up in Staten Island, New York and my family moved to New Jersey when I was 18 years old. I say things like Pay-pa and waddaa sometimes, but I try so hard to cover up the thick accent! I met my husband, Rob, at college. We were great friends for many years and when I escaped working in New York City for a new life in Philadelphia, Rob and I started dating right away. We have two children, Derek is 4 and Hayley is 2. Finnegan is our 5 year old Australian Shepherd and really more like a third child than a dog. All of our children love to sleep in our bed!!
I am a dedicated volunteer for the Preeclampsia Foundation, since I spent 3 days in ICU after Hayley was born suffering from postpartum preeclampsia-YES it CAN happen postpartum!!!
When I am not working I spend every moment I can with my children. Once they were born I felt I finally knew exactly what I was meant to do with my life…be their mother AND do my part to make the world a better place for their future.
