Rob and I took the kids the The Crayola Experience in Easton, Pennsylvania. Both Hayley and Derek are very into arts and crafts and I thought this would be a good day trip during the midst of the summer heat. The ride from Philly was about an hour and a half and pretty direct. From the moment we walked into the Crayola Experience the kids were so excited and dancing!
We started off on the second floor where they actually have a Dry E Race Car! The kids thought this was just so cool!
Derek was so excited to be there he even posed with a crayon for me
We saw a presentation about how crayons are made. Hayley was a bit young so I took her out but Derek was so into it that he told me all about the presentation while we played with Crayola Modeling Magic. Modeling Magic is like play-doh but WAY better. It is so easy to shape, stretch and roll without coming apart. If we didn’t make the kids continue on to another exhibit, I think they would have stayed in this section for hours (this was a common theme throughout the whole visit!)
Derek and Rob went to the Crayola Meltdown where they colored a picture with all melted crayons and Hayley and I headed towards Chalk Walk. At the corner of Crayola Way and Chalk Way the kids had a blast coloring with chalk inside,”Yes, you can color on the floors!! Yes I know we are inside!”
Then we headed over to the “Be The Star” Photobooth. It was so cool and put our pictures into the coloring sheet. They sell a home version of this that Derek has called Lights, Camera, Color and it’s so much fun.
Here is a bad picture version of me, Hayley and Spiderman

Souds like you guys had a blast! This is definitely on our to-do list!
I love the crayon. My son LOVES the markers.
My favorite product is the washable markers… My boys love using the markers but Mama doesn’t like the mess on their bodies … This place looks awesome and I definitely would love to take the boys one day!
My favorite product is the Color Wonder stuff!! Best thing crayola ever invented!!
We love the Crayola Factory!! I love every Crayola product… 🙂
Classic crayons!
My favorite crayola products are the crayons. My son loves the toddler crayons too.
Crayons, washable markers, paints (it’s tough to pick just one). The thing I love most about Crayola as a mom, though, is that when they say “washable” they actually mean it!
Alyssa, you are so right!! I am always amazed how it actually comes out of the kids clothes. When we were visiting I told my husband it was amazing how clean to walls were given that toddlers and little kids are running all over constantly with crayons and markers!
My favorite are the Color Wonder sets!
They leave no mess!
I love the markers!
Looks like so much fun! We love the twistable crayons in our house. They are less likely to break and make my toddler feel like he’s using the forbidden markers!
I love their coupons 🙂
Love the crayon colors for me and the washable markers for the kids!

The Color wonder got us through the toddler years 🙂
We love it all, but I do really love their crayons. There is nothing like a crayola crayon!!!
I love the classic crayola crayons, they are washable (save me some headaches) and the sharpener in the box is the best invention ever!
