One of my favorite things about the holiday season is our Elf on the Shelf. Our Elf is named Chippie. Every morning my children wake up and immediately wonder where Chippie landed. After a week of bouncing from the top of the blinds in the kitchen to the top of the blinds in the dining room; I become lost for ideas. I have seen some wild Elves out there but I prefer a bit more rated G fun for my kids.
Recently I discovered Elf Outfitters. Elf Outfitters is exactly what I needed to amp up my elfing skills. They generously provided me with an awesome monogramed cape and mask for Chippie. When my kids saw Super Chippie they flipped out!!!
I took Derek’s Gotham City and set it up with Chippie hanging on it
Derek and Hayley said they hoped Thor and The Hulk didn’t try an fight Chippie
Elf Outfitters has a variety of different costumes, free printables, advice on how to modify your elf to get him/her into different poses. They have a Facebook page with ideas, nightly reminders to move your elf. For me Elf Outfitters helps me not have to think too much at 11pm when I finally remember to move my Elf. Having a costume automatically adds the “wow factor” my kids need!!
Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post however I was provided with a free Elf kit!
I love the cape and the mask! Great idea to jazz things up a bit. 😉 I’m a terrible mom – I totally forgot to get our elf out this year. Luckily the kids haven’t noticed! 🙂

LOVE your super elf hanging onto Gotham City! What a great idea…AND, that cape looks beautiful.
We got the Plush Elf on the Shelf and he is a lot of fun. His name is, wait for it…Elfie. Wonder if the Elf outfitters make clothes for him, too?
