Well today will be the final day. The final tagging and wrapping of handmade hats from all over the US that have landed on my doorstep in the hopes of making a Hurricane Sandy victim feel a tiny bit of love, warmth and support. The final day of a huge collection (final count coming tonight) that I dreamed of at 3am on a Saturday night/Sunday morning and by that Tuesday I had received HUNDREDS of emails. The final day of something I am honored, grateful and humbled to be a part of. And lastly…..the final day of my husband saying “when are you going to get those hats out of our house”
