Recently I was given the opportunity to review the OgoBILD Nexus Kit. I gave it to Derek in his Easter Basket and from the moment he saw it…OPEN IT, OPEN IT…I WANT TO BUILD!! Not good when you have to prep for 20 people coming over and you want to actually play it with him but OK fine…Aunt Jenna to the rescue! Lucky for Aunt Jenna the packaging was easy to open and no batteries were required!
From the moment Jenna would take a piece out Derek would grab it right away and plug it into another piece. Lately I have really been focusing on finding age appropriate building and thinking toys for Derek since he is prone to be a bit hyper at times. I have been having a hard time finding building toys that are easy enough for him to play with yet hard enough that it challenges his mind. Sure enough Derek sat with the OgoBILD, focused and BUILT!
The only problem was once he made his “guys” he wanted to play with them for a little and didn’t want me to take it apart. OgoBILD seriously can create hours of calm imaginative play, which, if you have an almost 5 year old boy, you know it’s tough to do anything calmly!
OgoBILD is the PERFECT birthday party gift that every mother will approve of!! We are really enjoying it!!!

Very cool! I love building toys.
This would captivate my son as well! What a fun toy!
My children all love building toys. This looks like it would be a great addition to our building collection!
My boys would love that! They get really creative with Legos, but that looks like a ton of fun that doesn’t have to be square. 🙂
This looks totally up my sons’ alley! I will have to check it out…
I love how this toy encourages creativity!
