Did you know that 1 in 5 kids in America doesn’t get enough to eat? Children, not getting enough to eat, right here in the United States! That just doesn’t seem right. Last year I posted about Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign. Today I am posting again to remind you that No Kid should go Hungry and let you know how you can help this month by Dining out….
More than 16 million kids in America live in households that struggle to put food on the tables
More than 20 million kids get a free or reduced-price school lunch on an average school day. But only 9.8 million – fewer than half — of those kids get free or reduced-price school breakfast.
Hunger prevents kids from reaching their full potential. It’s an epidemic that’s threatening America’s future.

Dining Out in September Matters
No child should grow up hungry in America, but one in five children in the U.S. struggles with hunger. Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign is ending childhood hunger in this nation by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need, every day.
Help thousands of restaurants across the country raise $10 million this September by supporting their No Kid Hungry promotions. The money they raise benefits the No Kid Hungry campaign and its work connecting kids at risk of hunger with nutritious food and teaching their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals. Learn more about the solution and the impact.
