Last week I got to go to The Toy Insider’s Holiday Party in NY. I was so excited to take the day off work wear clothes without kids stains on them and head into the city with my good friends Lindsay from The Naughty Mommy and Linda from Giggles. Gobbles and Gulps. Linda was late as usual due to traffic but everything worked out fine and we started our way up the Turnpike and into NY.

When we walked into the Hearst Building I was immediately taken in by it’s beauty. Being a native New Yorker there is that sense of pride and love for NY that never goes away and the Heart Building does the city proud! I just took it all in as we waited in the lobby to head up to our event.
Then we arrived……it was toy heaven!!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw all the amazing toys in the room. I looked around and then I spotted her, across the room, nobody could miss her beauty, the girl my kids just love…the Doc

Not only was Doc McStuffins there but…..She now has a Check-Up Center (trust me I will be talking about this all season, it’s amazing and the top of my must have list)

After I attacked and wouldn’t leave them alone chatted nicely with the people at Doc’s booth I headed over to check out the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles because Derek, my 5 year old, is a big fan! Before checking out the toys I took a quick selfie (sorry)

Then I checked out everything that Derek would beg me for! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Masks, Plush, A Sewer Lair huge playset that fits the action figures (oh Santa I hope you are taking notes because we need it all)
Other favorites were Sofia the First (who doesn’t love Sofia!)

Zoomer, a robot dog…imagine this…a dog that actually listens, I have no idea what that is like!! I can not wait to try Zoomer!
I was really impressed with the LeapReader, I know nothing about Leap Pad products but I really like the concept of teaching kids to write the correct way through play

It was a FABULOUS day filled with awesome toys, lots of great people and friends and in my favorite city in the world!! We were also given an incredibly generous gift bag of toys thank you for playing Santa that I can’t wait to give to my kids!!

What a fun event! I like your outfit; you looked cute. There are so many cool toys coming out for the holidays this year! My daughter is nuts about Doc and has been asking for that Doc doll nearly every day (luckily her grandparents have it covered).
Thanks Shelly!!! I got the dress at South Moon Under, it’s my newest purchase so thanks for noticing!! THe toys coming out for the holidays are sure to keep all the kids very happy!! Doc is a favorite over here too!

I had so much fun, it was so worth the drive! Was great to see you too! Sorry I missed you at the #MomMixer! Lindsay and I totally hung out with Just Play Toys again, we are groupies! I didn’t know that about Zoomer but we are getting him so I can’t wait to try!! My kids saw him in the Toys R Us catalogue and were all over him “a robot doggie, please mama”
