Hallmark’s Be a Part of the Story books live up to the quality, imagery and uniqueness that I expect from Hallmark. As someone that can get lost in a Hallmark store for an hour hitting play on the fun dacing plush of the season or just looking at all the wall hangings with sayings that tug at your heartstrings, I was thrilled to try out the Be a Part of the Story book with my kids. We already have Interactive Story Buddies so I knew my kids would get a kick out of Santa talking to them from Santa and the Christmas Eve Flight.
When you read aloud, Santa chimes in with a special question or choice for your child to make. The answer will then trigger an appropriate response from Santa and continue the story, helping the big guy on his Christmas Eve trip around the world. There are over 30 different ways the story could be told so my kids loved to try the book out over and one rand change their answers. PLUS, nobody ever gets tired of hearing Santa’s voice!!
When I gave my kids the book they immediately wanted to read it themselves first which was a bit difficult in terms of getting Santa to speak since neither of the can read yet but they enjoyed making up their own story
Having Santa come to life through a story is such a fun and exciting way to help get ready for the holidays. It’s also a great way to keep kids excited about a story since it’s constantly changing and up to them what they want to choose! We really enjoyed the story and my kids asked to read it again and again. At $24 it’s a great price point for a unique, holiday themed child’s gift and you can purchase it HERE

Ever wish you had a say in what happens in a story?
When you and your little one read our new Be a Part of the Story Interactive Storybooks, you’ll have conversations with the main characters that change the reading experience depending on what you say. Read the highlighted lines aloud, and the main character will chime in with a special question or choice for your little one. When the child answers, the story continues with one of several responses. Each book has more than 30 possibilities, so each time you read the book together it’ll feel like a whole new story time experience.
Disclosure: I was sent a copy of the book in order to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own
