A wonderful Christmas tradition I have started with my children is taking them to Disney on Ice every year during Christmas Break. It’s a fun thing to do with kids that helps bring the magic Disney to Philadelphia. Christmas night my husband and I told our kids that we were going to see Disney on Ice the next day. The moment they woke up they wanted to know if it was time for the Disney Movie yet….ok they are young!!
When we arrived the excitement in the air was thick. Little girls in princess dresses, lights spinning, little kids squealing and when the announcement came that there was only 5 minutes till show time my two couldn’t help but cheer!!
The show opened with “Be Our Guest” and both Derek and Hayley were singing along. We were so excited to see so many traditional Disney characters too like Daisy, Donald and Goofy!
Mickey and Minnie had many costume changes!!
Our favorite princesses Snow White and Cinderella were there!!
For the final part of the show, the part my son was waiting and waiting for….BUZZ, WOODY and JESSIE!!!
And Rexy and Hamm!
It’s one colossal party on ice, with all your favorite Disney friends! Join Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as they celebrate a Very Merry Unbirthday Party with Alice and the Mad Hatter; a Royal Valentine’s Day Ball with Disney Princesses, including Cinderella, Ariel and Tiana; a Hawaiian luau with Lilo & Stitch; a winter wonderland with Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear; a Halloween haunt with the Disney Villains and more in a magical medley of holidays, celebrations and festivities from around the globe. Come join the party when this spectacular ice show visits your hometown!
Disney on Ice will be at the Wells Fargo Center from December 26, 2013 – January 5, 2014
