For the first few months of my kids eating pureed foods, I made most of it myself. Now that my son is approaching ten months and getting wilder by the day, I don’t have as much time to steam and puree fruits and veggies for each meal.
As a result, I’ve been purchasing a lot more prepared baby foods. One of my family’s favorite brands is Happy Family.
I have been a happy purchaser of Happy Baby and Happy Tot pouches and snacks for the past two years.
They are organic and come in tasty flavor combos. Some of the yummiest flavors that my kids like are: Happy Baby Brown Rice Pudding, Happy Baby Basmati Rice, Coconut & Carrot, Happy Tot Kale, Apple, & Mango, and Happy Tot Blueberry, Pear, & Beet.
And of course, we love the Happy Puffs! I bought the Greens Puffs (spinach, collard greens, and kale) last week and offered a few to my son. My two-year-old daughter quickly said, “Those are for big girls, Mommy,” and proceeded to eat half the container.
Happy Family foods are not just organic. They are designed with the concept of “enlightened nutrition” in mind, meaning that vitamins, minerals, supergrains, and probiotics are added so that each bite is a nutritional powerhouse for your kids.
Best of all, the Happy Family pouches are convenient. They don’t need to be refrigerated, so you can just toss a few in your diaper bag. Also, they are self-serve, so no need for spoons and bowls. I consider any food that I can just hand my toddler to eat herself to be amazing.
It’s true Happy Family pouches are more expensive than typical non-organic baby food…but did you know that every time you purchase a Happy Family product, you feed a starving child in Africa? Project Peanut Butter‘s goal is to eradicate severe malnutrition in impoverished countries. I don’t know about you, but I definitely like supporting a company that gives back to children in need!
