Alcott Adventures {Review and Giveaway}

Considering my blog is named for my dog Finnegan I think you all can guess that he is a huge part of my life!!  When I was offered to do a review for Alcott Adventures I was excited to do it because it meant it included Finnegan!  Upon checking out the Alcott website I loved their site.  It was bright and cheery and the pup graphic really was adorable!!  I loved reading the story behind the company.  Young energetic company with a true love of dogs.  Check out their story HERE! Reggie has the same coloring as Finnegan!!

When I placed my order we were shipped the wrong width leash.  I emailed Alcott and admitted I was unsure if the error was mine or theirs but the width I received would not work for Finnegan.  I didn’t mention that my order  was for a blog review.  The response I got was above a typical nice customer service rep.  It was quick, apologetic and extremely willing to help fix our issue no matter who made the mistake.   About a week later I got another email from the lovely Alison that said the zip code on my address was inputted incorrectly so my package was returned, that she was very sorry and she was adding a little gift to make up for the issues.  I honestly had no issues with this. We ALL make mistakes and Alison at Alcott was very responsive and super nice!

Now for my order…. Please not that since I placed my order Finnegan has had surgery on his eye and photos of him playing with his Alcott Adventures Rubber Ball have been impossible to take.  The ball is adorable and TOUGH!!  This is will be great to play with in the yard once Finnegan has his cone removed!!

I also ordered a leash.  When I walk Finnegan I need a very short leash and a gentle leader. However, my husband does the majority of the walking and he prefers a longer leash that is strong enough to pull Finnegan back when he barks at the neighborhood dogs.  The Adventure Leash also has 2 reflective lines down the entire leash which is great since Rob and Finnegan always take walks in the evening

My favorite item is the Mariner Shammy!  No more using 3 towels to attempt to dry Finnegan after rainy walk.  The Shammy is AWESOME!!!!  It dried Finnegan’s VERY FURRY soaked fur and his wet cone after a rainy walk last week.  One shammy, all dry!  No more dirty, wet smelly towels!!  It is my new favorite go-to Finnegan item that now sits next to his Thunder Shirt!!
