Nenuco & Her Little Sister

Hayley, my 3 year old, tends to run with the big kids since she follows her big brother around.  Although she is into pink, fluff and frill she tends to want to play whatever her brother is which is usually bad guys verses good guys.  Lately, I have seen both Derek and Hayley playing school with all her babies.  They line them all up in rows on the floor, cover them with blankets for naps and put pretend food in lunch boxes and bags for all the babies to snack on.

When Nenuco and Her Little Sister arrived Hayley and Derek were excited to add them to the group AND that they were siblings just like they were.  Hayley got to pretend she was the Little Sister (like she is) and Derek got to be Nenuco.  I would hear Hayley saying things like “Look Derek, your baby can hold my baby just like you used to hold me when I was born” and Derek would tell Hayley “I can teach your baby how to play games just like I taught you!  It’s been so nice to see them getting back to the basic sweetness of their sibling love.  Sometimes when they play bad guys verses good guys too much, they end up battling in real life.  This is especially why I loved the concept of Nenuco and Her Little Sister.

Both Nenuco and Her Little Sister are adorable dolls.  They are very well made and resilient, which is so important when a 3 year old is flinging them around.  Nenuco’s legs move so you are able to put her in a sitting position.  Which in Hayley’s eyes is a huge plus because she can eat sitting up!  Her Little Sister is so and sweet looking and has a cuddly body.  Hayley has been carrying her around like an infant and giving her A LOT of kisses on the forehead!
