Well here I am about 2 months in to checking out the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and I thought it was about time I started sharing some of my opinions with you on the phone so far. Keep in mind I am an avid Apple user. EVERYTHING I do is on an Apple, yet I have been very intrigued by the camera and size of the Samsung Galaxy Note. My husband and kids lovingly refer to it as “Big Phone” Yes, they talk about my phone, ask where Big Phone is and tell me often how big my Big Phone is!
I decided to try out the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 because
A) My iPhone5 has a fully shattered screen
B) The battery life on my iPhone5 is pathetic and I charge it about 2 times A DAY
C) I LOVE technology and although I am very deep into the whole Apple world I am still intrigued by what the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is all about
I think it’s best if I write a list
The Pros and Cons of the Samsung Galaxy from the Perspective of an iPhone User
Huge Screen is so easy to read
Better Battery Life
Great Camera, basically you don’t HAVE to lug around your DSLR anymore if you don’t want to
Awesome Video Capability
Tons of Apps
Great Photo Editor
Lots of space to lay out your apps the way you want them
Drop down screen for quick view notifications from apps like Instagram, twitter and more
Quick and east access to switch to different Hands-Free and Power Saving Modes
Nicer to create emails on a larger screen and easy search for old emails
SIMPLE upload capability to all social media sites
Easy single or multiple image selecting for uploading and sharing
I love that you can view ALL types of documents on the phone and even edit many
Sample video made from my SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE3 it’s AMAZING!!!
Not an iPhone
A tad too big, not easy for using with only one hand
Although the battery life is better than an iPhone it’s still not awesome
I am two months in and it’s STILL not easy for me to use. I thought the switch would have been quicker
I don’t know how to do a lot of things that I know the phone can do and I don’t know if I want to invest that much time into a phone
No notification when a text message is delivered or read
Have you made the switch?????? What do you think??
I am STILL on the fence!
Disclosure: I have been provided with a phone in order to facilitate this review but all the opinions are my own
