This Sunday I will be getting up bright and early and heading into New York for Mashable’s Social Good Summit! I have spent the last week watching this video over and over and over again. Every single time I see it chills flow through my body and I get so excited. It seems absolutely amazing!! Please watch this video because I know you will find it as exciting and inspiring as I do!!
We all have the power within ourselves to help make the world a better. Every little kind act puts the world one step closer. Too many of us think we are just one person and we can’t make a difference but that is absolutely NOT TRUE!! We can all make a difference in this world and an easy way to start is by using your voice. Join in the Global Conversation. Read about the Millennium Development Goals and find something you are passionate about. Even just sharing things on social media, starts the conversation where it otherwise might not have been.
IF I CAN GET INVOLVED AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE……SO CAN YOU!!
Have an amazing time! I know you’ll use what you find there well.
Thanks Kristin!!! I am SO EXCITED!!!!!
It’s amazing that people still listen to Al Gore who has been so very wrong on his predictions of global warming and now climate change. 2014 is the year that he told us the Polar Icecap would no longer exist (it’s the largest area of ice that we’ve seen in 12 years). All of his predictions of warmer weather, rising water levels and super storms have not happened. If you’re concerned about our climate, listen to a scientist and not a politician. The conference sounds great, but it should not include politicians.
haha!! I always listen to scientists, did you know my boss now is actually a scientist? Anyway I am going more for the humanitarian side of it all!! I see and agree with your points though!!!
