It’s a new school year and my oldest, Derek, has started Kindergarten. In my mind I can visualize him off to college and it’s driving me crazy!! Time passes so fast and it’s so important to me to be sure to create and cultivate family traditions. Traditions are the glue that keeps families together. I want Derek and Hayley to always have exciting things to look forward to and wonderful memories to look back on!
Some traditions we have are annual traditions like:
Going to the shore in the summer
Apple Picking in the Fall
Checking out the Sweet Lights at Hershey Park in the Holiday Season
Other Traditions don’t have to be as elaborate or even going out of the house, for example:
Saturday mornings we have pancakes
Sunday afternoons we rides bikes
Friday nights we watch a movie
As many of you know I am a Netflix Stream Team Member and I thought with the colder weather coming it would be the perfect time to post about Movie Night Traditions. We love to get pizza or take out Chinese Food on Friday nights. If it were up to me I would go to bed early but I am a mom so I need to wait till after the kids go to bed. The next best thing is cuddling up on the couch and watching a family movie!!
