Personalizing Your TV with Verizon FiOS® #CustomTV

For the past month my family has been checking out the Custom TV package from Verizon FiOS®. We picked a few packages that we knew would cover the kids, my husband (the remote hog) and me!  I just need Bravo to be happy so we got the Lifestyle Package.   The kids like Disney Jr, Nick Jr, Disney XD so we got them the Kids Package and my husband Rob is all sports all the time so SURPRISE we got him the Sports Package.  Rob’s obsession passion for sports has been passed down to our kids. There are many nights when Derek asks and begs if he could please stay awake “just 2 more minutes” to watch part of a game with Rob. Both Rob and Derek have a huge love for playing baseball.  Rob helps coach Derek’s baseball teams and they can always be found in the yard playing catch or having batting practice.

Verizon FiOS® recently sent me an awesome gift for working on their #CustomTV campaign and boy do they have my family pegged!!  We were sent a Zepp Baseball Swing Analyzer and Jabra wireless buds (which I quickly hid for myself!) The guys were super excited to check out the Zepp Baseball Analyzer.  From watching professional baseball on television, Derek has developed a whole in the box regimen and baseball stance.  When he gets up to the plate at a game it’s like  a mini production but all we ever hear from other coaches and parents is, “Wow he has some swing!”  I think he gets it from Rob but I always like to remind them that I played softball for many years!!

The Zepp is a wireless device that connects onto the bottom of the bat.  The Zepp app helps you capture a 3D image of  the swing which then allows you to compare your child’s swing to the pros, get the swing speed, set and track swing goals and much more.  Since Derek is early on in his baseball training it’s the perfect time for us to catch swing issues before they turn into bad habits.  He is so eager to improve his batting that he is open to any and all types of lessons.

Working on the Verizon FiOS® #CustomTV campaign has been awesome because my family loves technology.  The kids are iPad and iPhone obsessed so we need our wi-fi.  Rob and I do a lot of work from home on our laptops so we also need our wi-fi.  We have been customers of Verizon FiOS® for a little over 8 years and have always sang the FiOS® praises to our friends and encouraged them to get it once it’s available in their area.
