For some reason in it always seems like the summer is filled with kid’s birthday parties. I am always running to one party from another and stopping for karate, baseball, ice cream or gift in between. When we started attending birthday parties I would take the kids to Target or Toys R Us and let them pick the present for their friend. That would always end in me spending TRIPLE what I wanted because I had to buy a gift for the birthday party and one for each of my kids (If I wanted to get out of the store without an absolute meltdown) We would go through phases of what to get for parties. Derek always wanted to buy Superheroes or Rescue Bots and Hayley loves gifting art supplies and games.
Today I thought I would share a gift guide of my favorite go-to gift ideas for birthday parties
Melissa & Doug Princess Design Kit makes a great gift for young artists. Designing their own dresses and then coloring them in. This kit is a throwback to the Fashion Plates of my generation
Cra-Z-Art Super Coloring Tub Keeping with the art theme, we have always had great luck gifting art supplies. Kids can never have too many crayons, markers or pipe cleaners
Hog Wild Atomic Sword Popper This is a favorite in our house because not only is a sword for “battling” but it shoots little foams balls that won’t hurt little sisters!
Spider-Man Web Shooter Great gift!! This is a staple gift that we give at all the parties for little super hero fans. Transform a little on into Spider-Man with this awesome glove.
Playskool Heroes Transformers Optimus Prime For years Rescue Rots and Transformers have been a favorite in our house. We have doubles of most because both my son and daughter want their own. They are a great price point for gift giving and a good size that kids as young as 3 can play with them too!
Blast Off FireTek Rocket An awesome rocket that glows in the dark!! Kids will have a blast waiting for the sun to set and launching their FireTek Rockets in their own backyard!
The LEGO Idea Book is absolutely perfect for any LEGO enthusiast. This book is filled with ideas of what to do with all the LEGOs by theme!
Suspend is a great and exciting game that works on children’s hand-eye coordination. Suspend is fun, quick and keeps kids attention over and over.
Baby Alive Sips ‘n Cuddles You can never go wrong with a cute, bright-eyed baby doll. Baby Alive Sips ‘n Cuddles comes with kid favorites like stickers, a diaper and a bottle to feed, change and decorate their little baby!!
FurReal Friends Little Big Paws is adorable, sweet, cuddly and interactive! Perfect for little animal lovers that want to learn to care for pets.
Magformers are great for little builders. The Magnetic construction set include squares and triangles and is a great introduction to this awesome line of building toys. My kids are hooked!
Mack the Monkey from Melissa and Doug is bright, soft, colorful and big. He is a sweet monkey that can sit on his own and will make a great gift for a little cuddler!
What is on your go-to birthday party list??
