About two weeks ago I decided to jump on the Stitch Fix Bandwagon. I have watched other friends and fellow bloggers share their Stitch Fix fashion surprises for about a year now and although I have always been intrigued I haven’t been sure about doing it myself. While getting dressed for work and putting on the white version of the yellow tank top I had worn the day before, I decided I needed a bit more flair in my wardrobe. I need some statement pieces with flair because lately I have only been wearing solids, with layers of more solids.
Here is how it works…You answer a TON of questions. It was interesting and I enjoyed the process. There are photos of colors, patterns, outfits and you need to answer on sliding scales what you think about each one. You can also choose options like “No outerwear” and all tops “under $50” and all jeans “from $100-$150” whatever you want.
What do you pay? Well you pay a $20 styling fee per box. HOWEVER, if you keep even one item in your box that $20 fee goes directly towards the price of that item! Also, if you buy all 5 items in your box you will save 25%.
AND…..here is my Stitch Fix Box Reveal!
Since we are going to Disney soon I asked my stylist for shorts, you can put in notes like “I have an office party and need a dress” or “Going to Disney and need shorts” like I did!
These shorts are by KUT From Kloth which is a brand I see all the time in Nordstrom Rack (my favorite store) They are cute but I just picked up a pair of Lucky Brand jean shorts at Nordstrom Rack for $25 and that price beats the $58 price tag for these at the end of the season! So these are getting SENT BACK
Next was this Sweet Rain Toledo V-Neck Blouse. I wouldn’t have picked this pattern in a store but after I put it on I was totally sold! It’s $38 which is a good price point for a top that I can wear to work and on the weekends. So this tank is a KEEPER
I also received this Daniel Rainn blouse. I love the color and pattern, this photos doesn’t do them justice. It’s much brighter in person. Again, Daniel Rainn is a brand I frequently see in Nordstrom Rack. At the Rack this blouse would retail for about $29.99 but in my Stitch Fix box is was $68. For me, it was a bit steep since I know I could buy this brand for less (at a discount store) BUT it was a hard decision because I loved it, if it were $45 I would have kept it. So this blouse is getting SENT BACK.
I also got a bracelet!! It’s made by Romolo and it’s a silver, studded/beaded bracelet. I actually love it and I was happy with the $34 price BUT I have a bracelet that is so similar I couldn’t justify the purchase. So the bracelet is getting SENT BACK
Then there was the item I was not expecting. A sweater!! It’s August! Boy was so I excited when I touched this $64 Laila Jayde Salderas Hooded Cardigan. It’s AMAZING!!! It’s the perfect shade of oatmeal. It has pockets, a hood and it’s ridiculously soft!!! It’s longer in the front and shorter in the back for a more flattering fit. I LOVE IT, I AM KEEPING IT AND WEARING It NOW!!!!!
All in all my first Stitch Fix was a huge success! I am thrilled with the two items I kept. Both will be favorites for me in the fall. I set up my Stitch Fix Box for every other month but I just can’t wait for my next one, I might need to push it up!

Hey those are good picks!! I am still not on the bandwagon – LOL
LOVE the cardigan!
LOVE the cardigan and that blouse you sent back (I agree on the price tag, but how sad… lol). The shorts are cute too, but yeah, that price is a little steep. I enjoy Stitch Fix. It’s hit or miss for me, but it’s fun to see what they pick out.
I woke up this morning and put the cardigan on while I drank my coffee. It’s so cozy!! Do you do it mostly or bi-monthly??
Cute stuff and the sweater is adorable! Looks great on you! I still haven’t tried this bit I am intrigued!
Thanks so much! DO IT, I am so glad I tried!!!!
