I’ve always been amazed when my kids figure out how to work electronics at such young ages. When they were toddlers and learned how to swipe my photos on my iPhone…Genius! Then as little kids they could enter the security code on the iPad Mini, find Netflix and put on a show..Brilliant!! And now, my 7-year-old has learned how to turn on the tv, change the input (he’s so smart) to Apple TV, turn on the sound bar and use the remote to get to Netflix. He is even braving the unknown on weekend morning and going down to the living room alone, without waking me, and putting on Netflix till come down at a more respectable morning hour!!
My husband and I are always talking about what we are binge-watching. He just finished Narcos in two nights (he then slept in late and left me to take care of the kids all morning) I haven’t found my new obsession since I finished Gossip Girl and Friday Night Lights (I miss Chuck Bass and Tim Riggins)
Today, I thought I would post about what my kids are currently binge watching and I am loving!! The current main obsession for the kids is the Disney Buddies series. We can watch them over and over and over….and we have! The dogs are incredibly adorable, sweet and talented. The kids in the show always are fun and there is usually a good lesson, good sportsmanship and good entertainment!
Air Buddies (2006) – Buddy and Molly’s offspring work together to help each other while attempting to rescue their parents.
Snow Buddies (2008) – The offspring of Buddy and Molly go on an Alaskan adventure.
Space Buddies (2009) – The Buddies tag along for a field trip to the space museum and accidentally walk aboard a rocket ship.[9]
Santa Buddies (2009) – The Buddies help deliver the presents on Christmas
Eve.
Spooky Buddies (2011) – The Buddies are in a new adventure when Halloween hits Fernfield.
Treasure Buddies (2012) – The Buddies find themselves on an Indiana Jones style adventure.
Super Buddies (2013) – After acquiring rings that grant them superpowers, the Buddies must use them to stop a villain.
Also part of the Buddies franchise is the Air Bud series…do you see the theme here?? We love movies with dogs, preferably big dogs and some sports!
Air Bud – Josh meets a golden retriever and finds out that he can play basketball.
Air Bud: World Pup – Josh and Emma discover that Buddy’s ball playing skills apply to soccer.
Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch– Buddy makes the baseball team and becomes a star player.
Air Bud: Spikes Back – Buddy tackles volleyball.
