I am so late in sharing my last Stitch Fix box, I feel like I owe you all an apology about it!! I know I was all excited and raving after my last box that I wanted to be sure to share them all as they came in. My second box arrived and I was feeling very puffy at the time so it wasn’t a great day for me to try on clothes, do you know those days? Well I still LOVED my box and I am so excited about my Stitch Fix membership. I even convinced a friend to join and she absolutely loved everything in her box
Here is how it works…You answer a TON of questions. It was interesting and I enjoyed the process. There are photos of colors, patterns, outfits and you need to answer on sliding scales what you think about each one. You can also choose options like “No outerwear” and all tops “under $50” and all jeans “from $100-$150” whatever you want.
What do you pay? Well you pay a $20 styling fee per box. HOWEVER, if you keep even one item in your box that $20 fee goes directly towards the price of that item! Also, if you buy all 5 items in your box you will save 25%.
My first item was this Bancroft Danielle Long Knot Necklace. It retails for $32. I thought it was pretty but I have so many silver long necklaces that I just really didn’t need another. RETURNED
I asked for dresses before I remembered that I really need to be specific about needing an A-Line dress and I do even better with Empire Waisted.
The first dress was this navy Wells Dress by Collective Concepts. In theory I loved everything about it!! I picture it with a light brown sweater and brown boots. Then I put it on and and it huge a lot on my belly of empty fabric and clung to my hips where I guess I could have used the rest of that fabric that was hanging on my belly! RETURNED
Oh the Kathy Striped Fit and Flare Dress by Pixley. How striped you were! I mean bold white and black stripes and A LOT of spandex in this dress. I am 40, I am 10-15lbs overweight and a SPANDEX dress has NO right to be in my wardrobe. RETURNED
It does look super cute in the photo but not on my body
My stylist must have seen that I had pinned the Alan French Terry Asymmetrical Zip Cardigan because she sent it to me!!! I LOVE IT, in pictures….On me and zippered, not so much. Open it’s cute but I like the idea of zippering it but the extra fabric from the side that the zipper meets on, hangs underneath the middle panel and didn’t look nice on me….RETURNED
Sorry Alan French Terry Asymmetrical Zip Cardigan, I really wanted to love you!!
Finally…The RD Style Harriette Cowl Neck Sweater!! WINNER!!! I LOVE THEE!!! I have worn it, many times already, it’s AMAZING!!!! It’s warm and soft and it’s my absolute favorite clothing item at the moment!! WINNER!!

Love the sweater you picked. I may have kept the necklace depending on price. It is fun!
The necklace was really nice but I swear I have like 3 others just like it but slightly different 😉
Love that sweater – and it looks like it’s the perfect mix of stylish and comfy!
I love the sweater! It will look cute with jeans and casual boots OR dressy boots!!! So fun!
I’ve heard so much about this and know people who love it. That necklace is amazing! And good choice on the sweater.. that’s one thing that I never think about buying for myself but always need when the weather gets cold.
