Wednesday, It’s Wednesday!!….Last night we decorated the Christmas Tree. The kids had a blast…well Hayley did. She sang Christmas Carols and put every single decoration on the tree while Derek hid in the playroom playing Wii. Some nights it’s just easier to let things be!
I wanted to share some fashions for kids this holiday season. Long gone are the days when my kids just put on whatever I wanted and smiled brightly for the camera. Now they have OPINIONS, how dare they, and boy are their opinions very demanding. Derek in his must be sweatpants phase for the last year is hurting my heart and Hayley well some days she will do all the fluff I want so that makes me happy…until she asks for a cheetah dress and I am like WOAH, Who are you? Today I am sharing some Kid Approved Holiday Styles!
My handsome boy Derek. He used to let me dress him in anything I wanted. I would buy cute cargo khakis, fun sweaters with matching socks and more. Nowadays he is king of the sweatpants. Which is great and perfect for transition from school to activities but some days I long for the sweet boy in the reindeer holiday sweaters . I had a little talk with Derek and asked him if he would please wear some clothes Mommy picked out and sure he enough, he said “OK!!” At first he insisted on wearing the sweaters with sweatpants but finally he agreed to these navy khakis from The Children’s Place
I loved the fit of the khakis because Derek could still play and run in them. He has since worn this sweater from The Children’s Place multiple times….with sweatpants…but assures me that he will wear pants for Christmas. Please excuse the blur in the photos but it is nearly impossible to get this guy to stand still and to stop talking!!!
Hayley on the other hand loves herself some fluff and glitter so she was VERY pleased with her Holiday Picks from The Children’s Place. This Tulle Cupcake Skirt paired with these adorable Glitter Dot Leggings and amazing Stride Rite Pink Cowboy Boots
How cute is this fancy lady pug shirt!? Hayley LOVES it and when she first saw it she just laughed and laughed. Said, “This silly puppy is a fancy lady”
We also paired the Tulle Cupcake Skirt with adorable sweatshirt also from The Children’s Place. I love getting the kids clothes that mix and match. This whole set can mix and match with the leggings and either top. Hayley loves it all (especially the pug!)
adorable!! Little has the same boots and never wears them. Kills me because they’re SO great with all these cute clothes!
Hayley has to be in the right mood. She is currently obsessed with her latest sneakers and is wearing them with dresses too!
Such cute kid outfits!!
theyre adorable! and that little pink outfit killed me!!
CUTE stuff! I love their faces in the photos-totally captures them being kids! 🙂
Thanks Kelly!! It’s the just one more picture and you can run to the playground behind us face!!
The pug tee? Adorable.
I want one for me!!! I actually saw a woman in a Stitch Fix Facebook Group in a pug sweater that was awesome!!! I never ever thought I would say that but it was so true!!
and my child is now wanting to be…YOUR CHILD 🙂
haha!! So they can wear sweatpants every day except on the holidays?!! 😉
I absolutely adore your daughter’s style and am wondering if she can take me shopping?!
My girls would totally love the skirt and boot look too!
no tights though! For some reason Hayley refuses tights and will only go with leggings
Loving all of these styles and looks. Both my girls and boy would wear them too!
So cute and love how they have great designs for boys too!
Beyond adorable!!! Love them all!!!!
Thanks!!! Of course they are both back in sweatpants today!
So cute! I personally love holiday styles that can be worn again and these fit the bill! Gorgeous kids, gorgeous clothes (and the dog is a doll, too!)!
Thanks Lindsay!!! I agree with items that can be worn over and over. I have to admit to having the kids in the Elf on The Shelf pjs on the 4th of July though!!
After looking at your daughters’ styles, I have a feeling our girls would get along famously. Ha! These are so adorable, and perfect for holiday festivities!
Aww we need to have a big old meet up!!
What adorable outfits. My girls would love that cute pooch on her shirt! And those boots! So fun!
My kids would love these. They are practical and cute!
