We are full on baseball obsessed in our house. Derek is loving playing. This is his 3rd year and this summer is his first time playing on a tournament team. Derek is so devoted, he is the only kid I know that cries if practice is rained out and begs to practice all day every day! My husband Rob was very athletic and he will say Derek gets it all from him BUT I played sports as a kid too!! Anyway, no matter the internal battles of who he gets his passion for sports from, the sure thing is that he loves playing.
Another obsession I have is my Silhouette Portrait. If you aren’t familiar with what that is, it’s a machine that hooks up to your laptop and can cut vinyl in the pattern you design in their software. In order to make clothes I have been using Heat Transfer Vinyl from Pro World, referred to as HTV, and cutting it on my Silhouette Portrait. I then weed out (take away) the negative space with some tools (see tools HERE) and then press it down onto a shirt using my iron (Oh I need a heat press but I just haven’t invested yet) and a teflon sheet.
Here is a sample of the Silhouette in action from my friend Mama Cheaps. She is making a tumbler here
I am loving Siser Easyweed HTV from Pro World. They are quick to deliver, send great product, very responsive and they also send a sweet goldfish!
I am especially proud of this shirt because I designed it myself. Derek thinks it’s LIVE Baseball and I think it’s LOVE Baseball. Either way, we both love it and YOU can have it too (download only if you agree to use it for PERSONAL use not business)
