One of the joys of summer is watching my children enjoy playing outdoors. I love that summer is the time that they become best friends again and they create so many memories and adventures together (well, when they aren’t fighting!) While we are in the middle of a heatwave here in the NorthEast my kids have become sunkissed pool jumpers.  Hayley, my 5 year old just passed her swim test at the Life Time Athletic pool.  This was a huge accomplishment for her that she worked so hard for with swim lessons and practicing with us for weeks and weeks.  Derek is a little fish, he spends more time under the water than outside of it.  No matter where we go, my kids find the pool and away they go!

When we can’t be in the water Hayley and Derek love to run free in our backyard practicing their Ninja Warrior skills, running through our sprinkler, flying high on the swings and playing fetch with our pup Finnegan.  We try to supply them with enough outdoor toys to keep them occupied, having fun and enjoying all that summer has to offer.
