The switch from summer to fall has me and my skin all sorts of confused. Over the past few weeks I have gone from maxi dresses, to my winter coat and just the other day I was running errands in a tee. My skin on the other hand is coming off a tanner than normal summer (thanks to kids activities) and also is drying up with the change of seasons. I have always been a devote CC Cream fan but lately I have been tempted to try other options. While trying to figure out what is best for my skin so I decided to try some high end products and some more economical products.
Since my sister is a make-up artist I usually just stick to what she gives me or tells me to use but we both have different skin types and I really wants something extra hydrating that would cover my age spots without looking like I just spackled my whole face and then put bronzer on it. I am also a bit of a sucker for pretty packaging and age-defying promises so sending me into a store alone could do some damage. Thankfully my friends at Ulta Beauty sent me some awesome samples to test out for my post and let me tell you, I have found some serious WINNERS!!
First up here are the CC Creams…
Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream: When I put this on I thought I would never like anything better. It’s light, airy on your skin, blends perfectly, covers just enough yet it’s hard to tell you are wearing anything. I am honestly in love with this CC Cream and it’s a totally SPLURGE-Worthy WINNER
Aveeno Positively Radiant CC Cream -It’s ok. Perfect if you are on the go, forgot your make-up bag and want to run into Ulta Beauty to pick up something more economical till you get back home. I didn’t think the coverage was great but it really is ok.

This is great! Sounds like we have similar skin. I struggle so much with finding coverage and even moisturize that doesn’t bother my skin. I’ve heard great things about Clinique though. You’re the 2nd to recommend them so maybe that’s a sign! Thanks for this!!!
TRY IT!! Let me know what you think
Ohhhh, I have to try the Dream Velvet. I find Maybelline to have to some very wallet-friendly but high quality beauty products. I used to use a NARS eyeshadow but now I wear a similar color my Maybelline.
